A native of Easton, PA, Jeff Febbo grew up in the Lehigh Valley with an appreciation for family, community, and hard work. He has always considered himself to be in the “helping people” business. Jeff understands business owners especially well, because he grew up in a family business. His father owned a company that manufactured scaffolding. From the ground up, he received a great real world education.
Jeff is a 1978 graduate of Fordham University in New York City where he majored in Communications. He received his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1994 from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, CO.
Jeff has been an independent financial adviser since 1985. As a CFP practitioner who doesn’t work for a Wall Street broker, his planning is never affected by a bottom line or pressure to sell a particular investment product. In fact, it isn’t about products at all, but about helping people achieve their goals.
By maintaining the Certified Financial Planner™ designation, Jeff shows true commitment to his profession. Only those who have fulfilled the certification and continuing education requirements of the CFP Board can display the CFP® certification marks. When selecting a financial advisor, you need to feel confident that the person you choose to help you plan your financial future is competent and ethical. The CFP® certification provides that sense of security by allowing only those who meet the rigid CFP Board requirements the right to use the CFP® certification marks.
Jeff has been married to his wife, Leeann, for over 35 years. They have twins and two Shih Tzus, Dusty and Bandit. Their son Paul is presently a licensed adviser working in Jeff’s office. Their daughter Caroline completed a Master's Degree in Student Affairs at Kutztown University. She is currently working in Graduate Admissions at Moravian College. Jeff enjoys good food, fine wine, following his favorite sports teams, traveling with his family, and playing golf.
